PATHS

Corpusty Primary School launched a new PATHS project in September 2018 (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies).

The programme helps develop children’s ability to learn more about coping with different feelings, builds their self esteem and equips them with strategies for how to problem solve when issues arise.

The programme is taught twice weekly and develops year on year. Each day, as part of the programme a child is selected randomly to be ‘PATHs Pupil of the Day;’ this is a special day for the child in which they are given some small privileges and receive compliments from adults and pupils. A number of these compliments are written on a sheet for the child to take home with a space for parents to add their own compliment for their child.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
